Mary from chat has had her stoma 50 years I believe. Carl's stoma, at 43/44 is older than him.
Gary's came of age this last June - it's now 18 and eligible to vote. ;D
So, how about everyone else? Are you a newbie or an old hand?

17 years and counting...
it is here forever.... so hopefully by the time i'am 50 they would have thought up a new surgery that could transplant the rectum and colon...lol

I have 2 ostomies but could only vote once. My colostomy was 26 yrs. old in August 2003. My urostomy will be 10 yrs. old in February 2004.
