The anniversary of Mich's death draws near, as a New Year is about to begin.
As we raise a glass and welcome in 2004, let's take the time to share our memories of Mich.
For those of you who didn't have the chance to meet him, have a look at this page from Shaz's site: www.ostomates.org/mich.html

Mich was an op in our chatroom and always made everyone feel very welcome.
He was kind, caring, compassionate - and had a great sense of humour!
Happy New Year, my friend!

Mich was one of my dearest internet friends too, and it hardly seems possible it's been a year without him. Most of the conversations I had with Mich, whether it be e-mail or in the chat room, he was always quick with a funny comeback when it was called for, but was serious and supportive when need be. He was always so upbeat, and while going through his own battle with the dread colon cancer, he was always so supportive of me and mine. When I told him it was back, he encouraged me, even while he was losing his battle. I wish I'd been able to meet the gentle giant (he was 6'5" I think) but it was not to be in this life. Mich, I hope to meet you in the next life. Love you, my friend! Phyllis

Mich was so sweet and could be very shy. He was nver used to the praise he often got. I loved to tease him because he was so shy. He was a great help to me giving me items on hernias, etc. when I needed to know. He was such a wonderful presense that I miss him now and always will. Mich, my friend, wherever you are, you will always be a part of me. Love, Kim
